Accommodations
We are leaving your choice of accommodations up to you. Our tiny town is a tourist hub, and there are so many hotels and inns to choose from. We live in Buellton, which is quiet but convenient to the weekend of events. There is a Marriot on the high end, and smaller inns that are much more affordable in our neighborhood.
Solvang is only 3 miles from our house, but is the place most tourists choose to stay. Modeled after a Dutch village, there are many little shops, restaurants, and wine bars. It is almost as convenient as Buellton for our scheduled events.
Solvang is the place to be if you are coming without a car. Everything is walkable, and we'll take care of a shuttle on Saturday and Sunday nights for the big events.

If you'd like to stay a bit further away, Santa Barbara is a beautiful city with plenty of 5 start-type accommodations. The trip to Buellton and the various weekend events is about 45 minutes.

Saturday
Please join us in Buellton, CA for a casual evening starting around 6:00 PM. We'll send out the address in the next few weeks (so make sure you leave a good email in your RSVP)! We're planning authentic Mexican food, and good Midwestern grilling. There will certainly be plenty of local wines too.
Your itinerary for earlier Saturday is totally up to you. The link below gives some great ideas of local attractions, such as wine tours, and excellent golf courses. In addition, there is a great state beach only 12 minutes drive from Buellton if you can't come to California without spending time at the ocean (the picture of us on the front page was taken at this beach).

Sunday
Our ceremony and reception starts at 5:00 PM on Sunday at the Foley Estate Vineyard at 6121 E. Highway 246 in Lompoc, CA. However, we're planning much more fun.
Other Events
This trip is hopefully a great opportunity for a relaxing weekend, and we are happy to help make it as fun as possible. Please let us know if you have any ideas, and we'll try to help make it happen by joining along or hooking you up with others that may be interested as well.

The map below shows our house right in the middle of the wedding weekend action. To the far left is Foley Vineyards, the site of the ceremony and reception on Sunday. Right near our house in Buellton, you will see the location of the Saturday night dinner. On the right side of the map is Solvang, and just north of Solvang is Los Olivos. As mentioned on the previous page, Solvang has the most in terms of lodging, shops, and food. Los Olivos is literally a country-western village, complete with hitching posts. More importantly, however, it is the hub for the area's best wine tasting rooms, with at least 25 different tasting rooms within a 2 block radius.
